Keyhunt is built to flip that. We watch hundreds of housing sites at once and alert you within a minute when something matches your search. That gives you the head start you need.

We work exclusively with public data and handle your privacy carefully. Our mission is simple: give house-hunters a fair, fast shot in a market that doesn’t offer one on its own.

How it started

A script for myself, now a lookout for the whole Netherlands

Keyhunt did not start as a company. It started as an evening ritual that got out of hand: every night after work, eighteen bookmarked rental sites, hunting for that one new listing before a hundred other people saw it.

At some point I had had enough and wrote a script to do the refreshing for me. Simple, just for myself: check the sites, text me the moment something new showed up.

When I showed it to roommates and friends, everyone recognised the problem instantly. That is when Keyhunt stopped being a personal trick and became a platform: built for everyone running the same race against the clock.

Today Keyhunt watches hundreds of rental sites at once, not just the eighteen in my browser bar. The team is still small, but the mission has grown: nobody should miss out on a home just because they looked one evening too late.
